Rapeseeds Bio-diesel oil

“China is responsible for 30% of the world pollution. We should produce more bio-diesel oil in order to reduce the use of petroleum and reduce the discharge of carbon dioxide.”, Say Chinese experts.
At the same time, it is reported that Chinese scientists have successfully cultivated a kind rapeseed whose oleaginousness goes as high as 54.72% which is 2% higher than the oleaginousness of cabbage which had been considered the highest in the world. Rapeseed also has excellent characteristic of short grow period and disease-resistance. More important is that the rapeseed is not transgenic production and it could grow in high areas.

Base on these reports, Chinese scientists are speeding up the development of technology to produce Rapeseed bio-diesel oil. And the Vice head of Energy Research Institute China National Development and Reform Commission Han Wenke said, “In 2020, the amount of liquid biofuel will go to 10million Tons.”

Gongliboya Co., to produce a new Nano-antibiosis pipe

Pipes which are used for a certain period of time, develop microbes that grow and cling to the inside surface of the pipe. When the water in the pipe flow slowly or do not flow at all the microbes grow into a layer, which decreases the quality of water and in some cases can also be dangerous, when the pipe is used with hot water, the process happens much faster and could lead to a total plugging of the pipe.

The new nano-antibiosis pipe by Gongliboya is designed to solve all those issues; it is made of Polypropylene and innovative antimicrobial nano material, which has the perfect competence to treat antibiosis. The material is innoxious and stable, so that it could keep its antibiosis quality even with high temperature, long sun burning and different environmental challenges. The use of the pipe is safe for people and for the environment. Its installation is easy it has great compatibility with other materials.

Will it still spin?

Officials in National Energy Administration (NEA) insist that China would stick to its plan of reaching 100gW Wind Power energy till 2020.
Zhang Guobao, director of NEA, said China will build wind farms with capacity of over 10gW in inner Mongolia and XinJiang autonomous regions and Gansu, Hebei and Jiangsu provinces over the next decade, the total investment in those plants is estimated for more than one trillion Yuan.
If all goes according to plan, by 2020 3% of China’s overall power generation consumption, rising from 1.1% in 2008.
Domestic wind power generation reached 10gW in 2008, which means that China has the second fastest growth rate in wind power energy manufacturing, behind only USA.

wind_power_plant
Hebei, one of China’s key wind power bases due to its closeness to North China grid load center is seeking for investment of 100 billion Yuan which would enable it to achieve 12gW wind power capacity by 2020, right now the total installed wind power capacity is 1.1gW.
China’s five leading power generating groups are: China Huaneng group, China Datang group, China Guodian group, China Huadian group and China power investment group.

“the country that harnesses the power of clean, renewable energy will lead the 21st century”

Some industry analysts are concerned about the future of China alternative energy growth due the economy slowdown.
The hype around renewable energy is going to relax, the economic crisis, which cause dramatically drop in crude oil and coal prices will cause renewable energy production to be much expensive relatively speaking, and would decrease the incentive of investors to go in.
But that just in theory, in fact China’s top economic planning body, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) published on its website couple of weeks ago that it had approve the construction of two hydropower stations and two wind farms one in Sichuan province and the other in Guizhou province with a total capacity of 20gW.
But that just a part of it, China is also making a big progress in Nuclear energy production and plans to double its production capacity in the coming decade by building 8 new nuclear power plants which would be in charge of 1% of China energy consumption.
The National Energy Administration (NEA) reports that by 2020, China wind power production capacity would reach 100gW.

Renewable energy

China investments in wind power and nuclear power last year rose 88% and 72%, respectively, while the investment in thermal power plants declined 22%, those figures shows how serious is the China government in adopting alternative energy generators.

Let it be LED!

The Dongguan municipality announced that it is about to start replacing 22,00old road lamps with LED lamps this year, this step can save the city about 60% of the municipal electric consumption which sums up to a saving of one billion Yuan a year.
The thing with LED lamps is that it is expensive, a LED lamp cost almost 10 times as much as common lamp, what requires enormous investments, in the case of Dongguan, the local government announced that it would subsidies 30% of the cost, and the city of Dongguan will add another 110 million Yuan on the project, the rest would be covered by the contractors.
As a result of that, and the decision of the Guangdong province to replace 1500KM of road lights, which is about 100,000 road lamps, by 2015, Dongguan municipal decide to encourage the development  of LED production in the city and to become China’s largest producers of LED lamps.
Also Shenzhen, Dongguan’s close by city, plans on developing a LED industry and it is allocating money and incentives for those who will go into the market.
According to the National Development and Reform Committee (NDRC), in 2008 China subsidized the use of 62 million energy efficient lightbulbs with the investment of 280 million Yuan.
Beside the power saving itself, these improvements will also save 3.2 million tons of Carbon Dioxide emissions and  32,000 tons of Sulfur Dioxide.

A huge test with innovative solar power technology by the Huangming Solar energy group

Heliostats are spherical mirrors automatically tracking the sun location while set on the ground. A high tower is built in front of the Heliostats with a decalescence device set on the top of it, the tower a absorbs the heat generated by the Heliostats light and transforms it to the ground. The heat then is steaming water which located on the ground, once the water start to evaporate the steam generates electricity.

That test is part of the solar energy power plant which is being built by Huangming Group China. Huangming Group has been focusing on this power plant constructing since 2004. The Huangming Group invented three out of the four key optical collectors which are used in the process. A lot of achievements in scientific research and practical technologies have been invented during this project.

Huang Ming and the vision

Huang Ming and the vision

Himin Solar Energy Group, the creator of China Solar Valley, is a solar water heater manufacturer with an annual production of about 3m square meters of water heaters. Huang Ming, chairman and founder of the company, has turned his once-obscure factory into the largest solar water heater manufacturer in the world in less than 10 years. Yet he started out in the oil industry as a researcher at a petroleum institute in Dezhou in 1982. Knowing that oil was a finite resource, he looked for another area to work. In 1987, he read a book about solar energy and made his first solar water heater by copying the process outlined in the book and gave it to a relative as a wedding gift. Encouraged by enthusiastic feedback, he made more for other relatives and friends until the director of a state-owned factory heard about him and placed an order for a unit that could enable 100 people to shower using solar-heated water. It was Huang’s first deal and earned him 50,000 yuan. Huang poured all his cash into setting up a company called Xinxing, then in 1995 established Himin with some friends. Himin became the domestic market leader in less than three years.
